Adult Community Study ResourcesPresentations are often made in adult communities that are of broader interest to the Christian community. When study materials used for these presentations are available in suitable format for web presentation, we will periodically add them to this page. If you have questions or comments concerning specific materials, or would like to use portions of the materials for other studies, please contact the author or Pastor Rich Peterson. Doctrine of the End TimesDr. Larry Donnithorne made a presentation on the Doctrine of the End Times to the Homebuilder's class during the summer 2007 series on the various aspects of the proprosed revised EFCA doctrinal statement. The Power Point charts of his presentation are available here in PDF format. Heaven: Answers to 21 Critical Questions for Every ChristianDuring January 2004, Dave Laube made a three-session presentation to the Homebuilders adult community. This study explores what the Bible has to say about questions that Christians and the secular world often have about Heaven. It provides insight into how other religions and the secular world view Heaven as well as giving numerous Scripture references for each question. We suggest that you sit down with your favorite study Bible and plan on several sessions of looking up Biblical passages about this fascinating subject. We hope that these materials will help you to answer your own questions about Heaven and provide you with answers to counter the myths and outright falsehoods that often come up in conversations with non-believers. Our thanks to Dave Laube for sharing his research with us. The study material is in the form of a Power Point presentation. It can be viewed directly with your web browser; you do not need to have Power Point on your computer. Click here to launch the presentation.
