Opportunities for Volunteer Service

Volunteers are the key to effective ministry at Southern Gables. All areas of ministry need a regular supply of volunteers. Specific opportunities are listed frequently in the weekly Bulletin and ongoing needs are outlined on the various ministry pages of this web site. If you don't see an area of service that fits your particular gifts and experience, contact a pastor or ministry leader. God may have provided you to meet a specific need that hasn't been publicized yet!

There are many opportunities for ministry with children here at Southern Gables Church. Whatever your spiritual gift may be, there is a place for you in our children's ministries. (More information on specific areas of service.)

If you are gifted in music (vocal or instrumental) or worship arts such as drama, or have technical or administrative skills that support the worship arts, there are a variety of opportunities to serve our congregation during the worship services or special events. Contact the music secretary in our church office for specific areas of ministry.
