Day 21 |
Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. (1 Timothy 4:12)
Father, help me to set an example to unbelievers that they might see You reflected in me. Help me with my language, how I consistently live my life for Christ, how I love others, and spend time in the word. If I do not do these things, convict me Lord. Send your Holy Spirit to show me where and how I have sinned against you. Help me to keep short accounts with you Lord. Please change my ways to conform to Your ways.
FOCUS: 180 High School Ministry (see Pastors and Ministries section for those men & women working with this ministry)
- Pray that the students in our church would seek to know God and be examples in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
- Pray for our volunteer staff - that they would be strong in the Word as they lead small groups, that they would love their students well, and that they would live genuinely and Christ-like in front of the students and away from them.
- Pray that God continues to raise up adult leaders to serve and lead our 180 Sr. High.
- Pray that our students would shine the light of Christ in their schools and to the non-Christians they are spending time with.
- Pray that our 180 Sr. High group will effectively reach out to, care for, and follow up the many visitors and new believers God has given us.
We do the greatest service to the next generation of Christians by passing on to them undimmed and undiminished that noble concept of God which we received from our Hebrew and Christian fathers of generations past. This will prove of greater value to them than anything that art or science can devise.
