1. Pray for Unity of their team, that all will have a heart for God's work and too God's glory.
2. Pray that they would quickly learn to love the People and People Group that they are ministering to.
3. Pray that our missionary's extended family support them in their decision to be missionaries and understand God's calling for them.
4. Pray for our missionary's extended family that they too would know Jesus personally and count it a blessing that their son, daughter or sibling is a missionary.
5. Pray that the extended family members of our missionaries that are not in the Body of Christ would hear the Gospel and respond to Gods word.
6. Pray that our missionaries are able to have time, energy and heart to take care and communicate with their supporters.
7. Pray against loneliness, that our missionaries would find new friendships and that Gods grace and a stronger relationship with God, would overcome the grief of not seeing old friends.
8. Pray for our missionaries as they grieve the lost time with their extended families at home, the missed birthdays, holidays, weddings, funerals and other family celebrations.
9. Pray for our missionaries as they struggle with raising their children in another culture, how to teach them to be morally, spiritually and physically sound.
10. Pray for our missionaries as they make decisions as they school their children; whether to have them in International School, Home School, and if or when to send them home to finish their education.
11. Pray for our missionaries to have an easy and fun time acquiring their new language.
12. Pray that God will ease their feeling of isolation and that they would soon be accepted into their new culture.
13. Pray against Cultural Fatigue as they encounter noise, pollution, poor living conditions, dirty streets, sick and crippled people and children, things that are generally hidden in our society.
14. Pray for our missionaries as they feel a loss of "home", not belonging in their new culture and not belonging in their childhood homes that have changed so much since they have gone into their field assignment.
15. Pray for close friends in the field, in their teams and in their new culture.
16. Pray for continued good communication with "home" through E-mail, letters and rare phone calls.
17. Pray for their marriages, for husband to be sensitive to the needs of their wives, and wives to be able to make a peaceful refuge for their family in a foreign culture.
18. Pray for special couple time, as there is no "baby sitters" and no one to trust your children with. Pray that they can make time for each other for talking through their day, praying together and finding time apart from the kids.
19. Pray for daily quiet time to renew their spirits have special time in the word and find a refuge in God.
20. Pray for laughter and happiness in their homes, for fun family times together.
21. Pray for health both physical and mental as the stresses of a foreign culture, loneliness and fatigue are points of attack by the evil one.
22. Pray for personal safety for our missionaries and their families, as many are serving in very dangerous places. Pray for freedom from fear and trust that in any situation God has it under control.
23. Pray for good medical care when it is needed, and that the language barrier will not be a problem in those situations.
24. Pray for faithful people to pray daily and weekly for our missionaries as they can handle any situation with Gods help and your continuing prayers.
25. Pray for faithful and continual financial support and renewed support each year.
26. Pray for encouragement from God, the Word and Spirit, and that all thoughts be captive to the Lord.
27. Pray that concerns and love for their children not become over protection, that they can truly trust God and leave their children in Gods hand.
28. Pray that our missionaries truly find it a joy to serve and trust God in all that they do.
29. Pray that God will work on their feelings and attitudes as they assimilate into their culture.
30. Pray that our missionaries have a teachable heart and are good students of their new culture.
31. Pray for good, natural friendships with nationals with respect from each and a willingness to learn.
