House of Prayer
...being a praying flock
Acts 20:28: Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which He bought with His own blood.
Acts 2:42: They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
Luke 18:1: Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.
- Obey Jesus' desire that His church be a house of prayer
- Focus especially on our need for revival and the Holy Spirit's filling
- Spend almost all your time praying, not on sharing requests
- Battle for the souls of our people
- Come before God corporately and delight in His presence
- Meet together every Sunday at Southern Gables at 6:00 p.m.
- Join a mixed group of brothers and sisters who range from young to old in chronological and spiritual age
