Testimony of Victor Wills

September 2005

My name is Victor Wills. I am 41 years old. Throughout the '80 and '90s, I had a severe drug addiction. Although I believe I was saved at age 8, I went down a road far from the Way of the Lord, filled with sex, drugs and R and R. The Holy Ghost began to prick my spirit in my later 20's. To make a long story short, He used a ministry called Teen Challenge to heal my spirit and literally change my life.

After graduating Teen Challenge and working for them at a crisis center in Myrtle Beach, SC, the Lord allowed me to go to Toccoa Falls College - a non-denominational Bible college started by the Christian and Missionary Alliance church in Toccoa, GA. There, I received a BS in broadcasting and a minor in Biblical studies. It was there that the Lord gave me the greatest gift he could have given to me in present fleshly form (the gift of salvation in Christ Jesus is the first and foremost gift in my life)…my wife Amy. We dated two years before we married. It is important that I mention that we remained faithful and pure to each other until our wedding night! The Lord gave us both the strength to love and respect each other for Him and each other for all that time! Anyway, we now live in Denver and are standing firm in Love and Joy in Jesus Christ.

To sum, the Lord took a high-school drop-out musician; that forsook him to gratify the flesh, who ultimately became a hell-raising "junky"; reached down and pulled him (me) out of the bowels of hell; and changed his heart, mind and life to the way of truth, in Christ Jesus. Thank you for your ministry.

My wife and I have recently been approved as adoption/ foster care parents. Everything that I do both professionally and personally is based on James 1:27 - Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. In Christian TV media, I am involved with promoting foster care to the church. In this lifetime, I want to help as many kids as I possibly can. All of this is because the Lord had so much grace and mercy on me.

LeSea Broadcasting is the vision of the late Dr. Lester Sumerall and we continue to be obedient to what the Lord has started in him. The Lord has given me a strong vision (and tasks) to do in Christian television. Please pray for those tasks. May the Lord increase your joy and protect you, your family and your ministry.
