Southern Gables Church is a dynamic, growing group of people who have committed to God and each other to make a difference in their world. They are called partners because they have chosen to encourage each other, share their resources with each other and work together to accomplish the mission of the church. Every partner brings a unique and much needed contribution to the task before us. We encourage you to become a partner in ministry with us so that we may be even more effective.

Why I Should Become a Partner of SGC

Steps to Partnership

1. Meet with and become familiar with the people and ministries of SGC by attending a Discovery class. Dates and times are announced in the weekly Bulletin and on the home page and events calendar of this web site. Partnership at SGC is not joining an organization, but committing yourself to a group of people and a calling.
2. Read the following information on this web site or call the church office for a copy of the "Partnership in Ministry" packet.

3. Write out your personal information and statement of faith in Jesus Christ on the Partnership in Ministry application form. You can download a PDF file here for printout on your computer and hand fill it out or you can type in the info on the form on your computer and print it out. The form will not allow you to save a filled out copy on your computer.
4. Talk with one of the deacons and tell them "how you know you are a Christian." Partnership interviews are held on the first Sunday of every month in the Conference Room (Room 175) starting at 10:15 a.m.

Following your statement of faith in Jesus Christ, your name will be submitted to the Board of Elders for approval. You will then be contacted by letter. New partners are publicly recognized during a Sunday morning worship service
